Mis líneas de trabajo actual incluyen la ecofisiología de árboles y lianas, y sus respuestas a cambios globales, la dinámica de ecosistemas forestales y los efectos del manejo, y los cambios en ciclos biogeoquímicos y la diversidad de la biota edáfica en respuesta a disturbios en sistemas naturales y en ambientes productivos. Con mis estudios intento contribuir a un mejor manejo y conservación de los recursos forestales. Trabajé en diversos ecosistemas tropicales y subtropicales en Sudamérica, principalmente en el Bosque Atlántico en Misiones, pero también en las sabanas de Brasil, los bosques estacionales en Panamá y el bosque Chaqueño. Me mudé a la Patagonia Argentina en el año 2017 y me incorporé al CEAI. Actualmente estoy iniciando investigaciones sobre fenología de árboles a largo plazo y continuo realizando estudios en bosques subtropicales.
